KAWG&F’S STEPHEN CUPIT AWARDED RETIREMENT PLANNING DESIGNATION

Baltimore , MD -- Baltimore-based public accounting and consulting firm Katz, Abosch, Windesheim, Gershman & Freedman (KAWG&F) is pleased to announce that Stephen Cupit, manager at KAWG&F, has recently earned the professional designation of Certified Specialist in Retirement Planning (CSRP). This designation was awarded by The National Institute for Excellence in Professional Education, LLC, in conjunction with various state societies of CPAs and Surgent and Associates, LLC.

Those who have successfully earned the Certified Specialist in Retirement Planning designation have achieved this goal through completion of an intensive series of integrated courses in this subject area, and thus have earned the practical knowledge necessary to provide the best possible service to the general public.

A graduate of Towson University with a Masters of Science in Taxation degree from the University of Baltimore, Cupit started his career at KAWG&F in 1980. He holds a manager position for the public accounting and consulting firm, specializing in retirement and employee fringe benefit planning and qualified retirement plans. Cupit was recently recognized by the Towson Business Association as the first “Hall of Fame” award recipient.
